The Final Trend: Spring Summer 2012

10.  Fresh as a Daisy

These fresh clothes are a breath of fresh air.  Feminine, lady-like, pastels, sorbet colours, soft tones and lots of white.  This style is not boring, but precise, not printed but plain and not complex but content.  Think fresh, clean and pure thoughts.

9.  Print Alert

Prints, prints and more prints!  Digital, floral, aquatic mammals, tribal, tropical and striped prints are huge this Spring Summer.  Many prints have a 3D nature and are intrinsically realistic.  They are enormous, bold and colourful, romantic, elongated, abstract and ethnic.

Trend 8: Spring Summer 2012

8.  Night Time

Opulently rich and plumy this deep dark trend is intended for late night misadventure.  This trend is characterised by satin fabrics, lace and sequin meshes, rubberised finishes, and midnight colours.  The intention is to create a sinister and sexy nighttime vibe.

Trend 7: Spring Summer 2012

7.  Iridescent

Giorgio Armani called his collection “Nacre at nighttime,” referring to the French word for mother of pearl, the gleaming natural underwater treasure that can be used to describe all of this iridescent trend.  The garments are marked by a shimmery surface, created using sequins, a metallic tread or a lacquered surface.
